Google, MicroSoft හා Twitter

මේක තවත් පුංචී ගේමක්, ගේමක් කිව්වට දෙපිලක් අතර තියෙන තරඟයක්.

ඔයාල දන්නවනෙ, ගොඩක් අය micro blogging වලට පාවිච්චි කරන්නෙ ට්විටරය කියල. 

ඊළඟට තව දෙයක්, ගූගල් හා මයික්‍රොසොෆ්ට් දෙගොල්ලොත් ලොකු තරඟයක ඉන්නෙ කියලත් දන්නවනෙ? (competition in the enterprise application space) දැන් එයාල අලුත්ම තරඟයක් පටන් අරගෙන, Internal Micro Blogging. හිතන්නකො ට්විටරය, මොකක් හරි organisation එකක් ඇතුළෙ විතරක් පාවිච්චි වෙන වගේ දෙයක් කියල. 

ගූගල් Buzz කියන්නෙ හරියටම ට්විටර් ක්ලෝන් එකක් නෙමෙයි, නමුත් ගොඩක් සමානකම් තියෙනවනෙ. එයාල බස් ප්‍රසිද්ධ කරනවත් එක්කම කිව්ව, මේක ඉදිරියෙදි සංස්ථාපිත පරිසරයකට (corporate environment) ගැලපෙන විදිහට එනව කියල, ඒ කියන්නෙ මොකක් හරි organisation එකක් ඇතුළෙ විතරක් ක්‍රියා කරන්න පුළුවන් වෙන විදිහට. Google Apps හරහා සමාගම්, පාසල් වගේ තැන් වලට Google Buzz ක්‍රියාත්මක කරවන විදිහට එයාල වැඩ කරනව.

ඒ අතරෙ MicroSoftලත් ඔහොම එකක් හදමින් ඉන්නව, ඒකට එයාල දීල තියෙන නම Office Talk. මේක ඇවිල්ල කෙලින්ම ට්විටර් ක්ලෝන් එකක්ම තමා. (අකුරු 140යි ලියන්නත් පුළුවන්) නමුත් Google Buzz වලින් කරන්න පුළුවන් වැදගත්ම දේවල් ටිකත් කරන්න පුළුවන්. 

MicroSoftල මේක ගැන කියන්නෙ මෙහෙමයි.

Microblogging has that potential. OfficeTalk is a concept test to explore the value of microblogging in the enterprise. OfficeTalk is deployed internally at Microsoft and has seen over 10,000 visitors and hundreds of messages posted daily. We're now making OfficeTalk available to a few customers in a small pilot test. Because this is an early-stage concept, the OfficeTalk microblogging experience itself looks very similar to other well-known services. The key difference is that the enterprise owns the data since the OfficeTalk server is hosted in the customer’s organization."
