EXMO තාක්ෂණික ප්‍රදර්ශනය, මොරටුව සරසවිය තුළ කාලෙකින් පවත්වපු දැවැන්තම ප්‍රදර්ශනය කියන්න පුළුවන්. මේක පැවැත්වුවේ ඉංජිනේරු පීඨය මගිනුයි.
සියළුම දෙපාර්තමේන්තු මීට සහභාගි වුනා.
මම, ද්‍රව්‍ය විද්‍යා හා ඉංජිනේරු දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ සිසුවෙක්. අපේ දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවත් මේ සඳහා ඉහළ සහභාගිත්වයක් ලබා දුන්නා.
අපගේ දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ සිටින සිසුන් සංඛ්‍යාව අනෙකුත් දෙපාර්තමේන්තු වලට සාපේක්ෂව අඩු උනත්, අපි අනෙකුත් දෙපාර්තමේන්තු මට්ටමටම ඉතාම ඉහළින් මෙම ප්‍රදර්ශනය සිදු කළා.
අපගේ දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවට ඉතා ඉහළ ජනකායක් පැමිණියා. EXMO ප්‍රදර්ශන කමිටුවේ ප්‍රධානි මහාචාර්ය සී. කේ. පෙරේරා කථිකාචාර්යතුමන් පැවසූ ආකාරයට වැඩිම ජනකායක් පැමිණ ඇත්තේ ද්‍රව්‍ය විද්‍යා හා ඉංජිනේරු දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවටයි. (මෙම තොරතුර, එතුමන්ම අපගේ දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ, කමිටු සාමාජික කථිකාචාර්යතුමන්ට පවසා ඇත.)

ආපු අය නම් ගොඩාක් දේවල් බලන්නැති, ආපු නැති අයට ගොඩාක් දේවල් මිස් වෙන්න ඇති. දුක් වෙන්නෙපා, ලබන අවුරුද්දෙ මීටත් වඩා හොඳ ප්‍රදර්ශනයක් බලාගන්න ඔයාලට පුළුවන් වේවි.

ReplyDeleteහැම ඩිපාට්මන්ට් එකක්ම හොඳයි, එක එක්කෙනාට එක එක ඩිපාට්මන්ට් හොඳයි. ඒක පුද්ගලයා මත වෙනස් වෙනවා.
ReplyDeleteතමුන්ට යන්න ඕනෙ පැත්ත අනුව තමුන්ගේ කැමැත්ත අනුව තෝරා ගන්න දෙයක්.
ද්‍රව්‍ය ඉංජිනේරු කියන එක කෙනෙක්ට හොඳ වෙනකොට තවත් කෙනෙක්ට නරක ඇති. ඒකෙ තියෙන්නෙ මොනවද කියල නොදන්න කෙනෙක්ට නම් ඒක නරකයි. :) හොඳම ඩිපාට්මන්ට් එක නම් නෙමෙයි නමුත් ගොඩාක් දේවල් ඉගෙන ගන්න පුළුවන්, මෙතනින් පටන් අරගෙන විවිධ පැති වලට යන්න පුළුවන් field එකක් තමයි ද්‍රව්‍ය ඉංජිනේරු කියන්නෙ.
හොදම ඩිපාර්ට්මෙන්ට් එක කිව්වම, ඒක හොද වෙන්න කොහොමද කියන්න නිර්ණායක ඕනේ වෙනවා.

හොදම ඩිපාර්ට්මෙන්ට් එක වන්නේ එලියේ ජොබ් මාර්කට් එකේ වැඩිම පඩියක් හම්බුවෙන ෆීල්ඩ් එකයි.සහ වැඩිම ජොබ් ඉල්ලුමක් තියෙන ෆීල්ඩ් එකයි..
ඔව් එක ආකාරයකින් බැලුවම ඔබ හරි.
ReplyDeleteඔබගේ නිර්ණායකය එක්ක බැලුවම, ඉහළින්ම ඉන්නෙ computer science and Engineering, Textile Engineering, Civil Engineering කියන දෙපාර්තමේන්තුයි, හා Transport and Logistics Management.
ඒකට හේතු වෙන්නෙ, රට තුළ තිබෙන industries ප්‍රමාණයයි. සමහර විෂය පරාසයන් තුළ තිබෙන කර්මාන්ත/ආයතන ප්‍රමාණය සාපේක්ෂව වැඩි නිසා ඒ පරාසයන්ට අදාල රැකියා අවස්ථා වැඩියි, සහ වැටුප් වැඩියි.

Agree with 1, 2, and 3. But surely textiles should be there. Don't agree with 5. And most Tronics go to CSE jobs, not ENTC jobs other than telecommunication.
ReplyDeleteI respect your opinion as a final year UoM student. I had the same when I was there. But now I feel the way industry goes. You might not know, Chemical is one of the highly reputed and paid field internationally (I did EE), and most chemical guys earn like heaven in the countries like NZ and Aus where the agriculture and mining are predominant industries. Anyway, my list and the order of the precedence is correct for your information..

When talking about internationally, Yes, Chemical is one of the best fields. And also Materials Engineering too. specially in US, AUS like countries.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, but the sad part is since the Material field is new in UoM, it is not yet much recognized internationally. Hopefully it will be alright with time. We'll see..!!

Hmm that is something which is not right is sri lanka, Materials Engineering is one one the best, most advanced and vast engineering field internationally. But not much recognized in sri lanka.
ReplyDeleteEXMO helped it from some amount to expose Materials Engineering in to the general public.
